What's on the tables
Gothic clothing and corsetry. Latex and hand-finished leather. 18+ gear. Jewellery, glass, candles, art and prints, tarot, pyrography, bone and taxidermy, and a fair bit that doesn't fit a category.
Most of it exists once. If you've done the Bullring and found nothing that looks like you, this is the other option.
Who it's for
Goths, the alternative crowd, and anybody who'd rather buy from the person who made it. Come on your own or bring your lot. Nobody's going to look at you funny.
Where and when
Secret Space, 30-34 River Street, Digbeth, Birmingham, B5 5SA. Sundays, midday until 5pm. There's an A-board outside so you can spot the entrance as you come up the street.
It's strictly 18+, because adult work is on the tables alongside everything else. The venue is fully accessible. Guide dogs and service dogs only.
Tickets are £5 online and £7 on the door.
Getting here
By train, Moor Street and New Street are a ten to 15 minute walk away. Snow Hill is about 20. Buses stop on Digbeth High Street, and from there it's about five minutes up Floodgate Street and River Street. The Digbeth coach station is about five minutes away too.
Driving? There's on-street parking on River Street, Floodgate Street, and the streets around them. It's free on Sundays on most of them, but check the signs before you park. There are a few pay and display car parks nearby, and the city centre car parks at the Bullring, Selfridges, and the Arcadian.
